The One Hour Plays!

For the past couple of months I've been designing posters for the fantastic fringe show The One Hour Plays.

"What the hell is The One Hour Plays?" I hear you ask. Well, in their own words:

"With copious help from our audience, each play is conceived, devised, costumed, scripted and performed before your very eyes - with a newly painted backdrop and a freshly composed score! Art Attack meets Anneka Rice with live playwriting, this is a richly sensory spectacle which lays bare the nuts and bolts of the theatre in all its eccentricity."

Good.

To find out more about the plays, go to their website, and to see a few more of my posters just take a scroll.

New Showreel for 2013

Showreel time.

This includes music videos for The Low Anthem, Efterklang, Allo Darlin' and Liz Green, short films and commercial work.

There's work created in After Effects, Shake, Final Cut Pro and Dragon Stop Motion.

Most of the cinematography is my own, except for The Low Anthem's 'Boeing 737', which was shot by the hugely talented Pablo Rojo.

I'm always looking for new interesting work, so if you like what you see, please get in touch.

End of the Road Festival Trailer

Another festival trailer for you all! This time it's for End of the Road Festival, and features yet more paper animation.

Those of you who saw my animation for last year's festival may recognise one or two shots, but there's a whole load of new work in there too, including some rather time consuming line-up banners.

There were also some additional icons from the festival, including the boat and disco ball (no, I will not use a ping-pong ball, I will build a sphere from paper. Okay?) and the Somerset Cider Bus.

Also a badger joins the cast of animals this year, who is currently living beside the bear over my fireplace.
